It all started that one night...
Hikari’s love for arcade centers was fostered by her father, Kase Kenta. Her fondest memories were of her and Kase bonding for hours on end playing games before ending with a bowl of ramen. One rainy night over a game of JumpJump at Happi Akedo, Kase told Hikari that he had to take a phone call, and that he would be right back. Before leaving, Kase took off his jacket and placed it over Hikari's shoulders to keep her warm. Hours rolled by, and the arcade was wrapping up for the night; still Kenta had not returned.
That was 13 years ago.
Hikari is now 18 years old. “Old Man” Tetsuya, the arcade employee who waited with Hikari that fateful night, took her in and became her foster father. Tetsuya was unfortunately diagnosed with a terminal illness around that time. With his dying breath - knowing how Hikari never gave up waiting for her father - urged her to follow her heart and seek what she truly desires. Hikari, who has been plagued by her past, decided she would no longer wait, that she would get to the bottom of things, once and for all.
Hikari took out the jacket that her father left her 13 years ago, put it on and began her adventure.
